Newsha products are sold only by our independent sales representatives, which is to your benefit as there is no discount or free delivery on small orders. So:

 

‏1‏. If you have bought our products before, the best way is to buy them again from the same independent sales representative from whom you purchased last time.

If you have already identified an independent sales representative who introduced and sold the products to you, but you do not have their contact information, just contact our service and support team and let them know the independent sales representative’s full name. Then, wait for a call from them.

Also, you can fill in the "Contact Us" form and submit it; we will contact you as soon as possible.

If you do not remember the name of the independent sales representative who introduced and sold the products to you, provide us with your personal information including your full name, address and telephone number; you can contact our service and support team or fill the “Contact Us” form. 7. Do your products have health certificates?

Yes. All Newsha products have ISO22000, ISO9001, HACCP and health certificates; the related information has been printed on the packages.

 

 

 

8. How many cups of tea or herbal infusion should we drink per day?

Drinking too much herbal drinks, like overuse of anything else, not only does not give the desired results, but also causes side effects. Researchers recommend up to three or five cups of herbal drinks a day.

 

 

 

9. When is the best time to drink tea?

Since tea can decrease iron absorption, it is suggested to drink it two hours before or after a meal.

 

 

 

10. What is the optimum temperature for storing tea? ‎‎

Tea will not go bad easily when kept at a low temperature in an airtight container away from light. To take full advantages of health benefits of tea, it is recommended to keep it at a temperature below 30 °C.

 

 

 

11. How much water is required for one teabag? ‎‎‎

We recommend 170 ml for each teabag.

 

 

 

12. Should I cover up the tea cup or mug during steeping time?

In order to keep your tea or herbal infusion hotter and also keep aromas trapped in, it is recommended to cover your tea when steeping.

 

 

 

13. Why does my green tea taste bitter?

Steeping green tea for too long or at high temperatures can produce a bitter cup. Brewing at 75 to 85 °C for 2 to 3 minutes has been found to be the optimal condition.

 

 

 

14. I don’t like the taste and flavor of some teas, and I can’t have sugar with them because of my high level of blood glucose. What should I do?

You can drink them with a little pure honey or a piece of bitter chocolate, if your doctor allows you.

Studies show that adding honey to some herbal drinks enhances their antioxidant activity. Also, after consulting with your nutritionist, you can mix some products to not only reach a new taste and flavor, but also benefit from the health properties of all of them.

 

 

 

15. Are Newsha products medicinal?

No. They are not. Our products, made with teas and natural traditional Iranian spices and herbs, are categorized as “Healthy Drinks”.

 

 

 

16. I'm currently on medication. Is it safe for me to drink teas or herbal infusions?

If you are taking medication or undergoing chemotherapy, you MUST consult with your doctor before drinking herbal drinks.

 

 

 

17. Which of Newsha products are not safe to drink during pregnancy and breastfeeding?

Pregnant and breastfeeding moms should consult with their doctors or midwives before drinking any kind of herbal drinks. You can find some information about possible side effects of our products on “Properties” tab of our online store.

 

 

 

18. My blood pressure, glucose and cholesterol levels are at normal range. Are teas or herbal infusions reducing these parameters safe for me?

The majority of beverages affecting blood pressure, glucose and cholesterol restore these parameters back to normal; they are not harmful to a healthy person. However, if you are testing any kind of beverage for the first time, it is better to drink it with caution in small amount, so that in case of any probable side effect, there will not be a serious problem.

 

 

 

19. Can I drink tea on an empty stomach?

Yes. Tea Catechin, an important and beneficial antioxidant, is absorbed better when your stomach is empty.

 

 

 

20. Can I add some lemon juice to tea?

Yes. Tea flavonoids which provide many health benefits (same as Catechins) are more active in acidic environment. Adding lemon juice to tea enhances the body's ability to absorb Catechins and also increases their stability.

 

 

 

21. Can I drink high amounts of teas or herbal infusions at short intervals to enhance their beneficial effects?

No. Based on scientific researches, reaping numerous health benefits of teas takes time; it varies for individuals according to their physical health.

Keep in mind that their acute consumption is harmful; a moderate amount would be beneficial. Specially, elderlies should begin drinking teas or herbal infusions in small amounts and increase it gradually.

Moreover, it is important to remember that you should keep on drinking herbal infusions or teas to see their beneficial effects on body.

 

 

 

22. How much tea or herb does each tea bag contain?

Every regular and pyramid teabag contains about 2 and 3 grams of teas or herbs, respectively.

 

 

 

23 How to store teas or herbal infusions properly?

Teas and herbal infusions must be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct light, heat and sources of heat such as the stove and the oven.

Tea must be kept free from oxygen in order to prevent oxidation through which vitamin C is oxidized faster than Catechins. The color and aroma of tea are adversely affected by oxidation and degradation of vitamin C and other antioxidants.

The other factor that may change the freshness, aroma and flavor of tea is moisture, that’s why it must be kept in a dry place.

 

 

 

24. How long is the shelf life of your teas and herbal infusions?

25. How long will Newsha products remain fresh?

It depends on the type of teas and herbal infusions. Those containing fruits, like Tropical Fruits infusion, will not remain fresh for a long time.

To keep your tea fresh, always store it in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Follow the instruction below to make sure your tea or herbal infusion remains fresh:

- The best time to consume the products containing fruits is upto6 months after the production date.

- The best time to consume the other products is upto12 months after the production date.

 

 

 

26. I have frequently encountered the words “free radicals, antioxidants and inflammation” on your website. What are their functions in human body?

Free radicals are atoms with an unpaired number of electrons and can be formed when oxygen interacts with certain molecules. They are formed by factors such as stress, aging, UV exposure and air pollution. These compounds are highly reactive and unstable, and cause inflammation leading to many diseases.

Antioxidants are nutrients in foods, which suppress the formation of free radicals and improve body health level.

 

 

 

27. Do your products contain sugar or calorie?

Most of our teas or herbal infusions do not contain sugar or calorie. You can view the nutrition facts of each product on “Effective Ingredients" tab in “Product” menu.

 

 

 

28. How much caffeine does a cup of tea contain?

The caffeine content depends on several factors such as water temperature and brewing time. However, on average, a 180 ml cup of tea contains about 40 mg of caffeine.

 

 

 

29. Are your teas and herbal infusions gluten free?

Our products do not contain ingredients like wheat, rye and oat. So, they are gluten-free.

 

 

 

30. Are your teas dairy-free?

Yes, Newsha teas and herbal infusions are dairy- free.

 

 

 

31. What are your tea bags made of?

Pyramid bags are made of corn fiber. They are completely biodegradable. Regular teabags are made of nylon fiber.

 

 

 

32. Where do you source the ingredients of your teas and herbal infusions?

We source ginseng from Canada, and the majority of our black teas comes from the best plantations of India and Sri Lanka.

Other ingredients of herbal infusions, tea mixes, Iranian black tea and green tea are all Iranian.

 

 

 

33. Can I return a product?

Yes. Considering our customer-orientation strategy, we accept returns.

To return a product, contact the independent sales representative who sold you the product. If they do not help you in four business days, contact our service and support team. Also, you can fill in and submit the “Contact Us” form. We will contact you as soon as possible.
